Large bowls are made from hand-cut glass discs, screen printed by hand, then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees. Bowls are then cold worked on grinders and saws, then put back into the kiln to slump into their final shape. Each bowl is unique and made-to-order, please allow an additional 2-4 weeks to make and ship.
This bowl features our pine bough and pine cone design, screen printed with dark green enamel onto ivory glass, layered with transparent fern green glass. Large bowls are about 13" x 3" deep.
These make great wedding and housewarming gifts. These are a fantastic fruit bowl size, are great for serving, and look equally fabulous displayed on your table. They are food-safe, and while kiln formed glass is dishwasher safe (china cycle), we recommend hand washing. Each bowl is handmade by artist Laurie Freivogel in her tiny Oak Park, Illinois studio. Bowls come wrapped in colorful tissue, please let us know if you need a gift box.
