Chicago Marina City Fused Glass Catch-all Dish
Fused glass catch-all dishes featuring your favorite Chicago landmarks - part of an ever growing series!
This catch-all features Chicago's famous Marina Towers printed in teal and yellow enamels onto opaque driftwood gray glass and paired with a sea blue stripe, then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees. The piece was then cold worked on a glass saw and/or grinder, then returned to the kiln to slump into it's final shape.
It is screen printed, kiln formed glass, 4.5" square and slumped into a sushi-style mold making it about 3/4" high at the corners. Catch-alls are great for tossing your coins and keys into, hold rings and earrings, candles, soap, make cute appetizer plates, great spoon rests and decorative accents. They are food safe and we recommend hand washing, though they can go in the dishwasher.
This design is part of a series and has other matching housewares! It comes packed in colorful tissue, please let us know if you need a gift box.
