Fused glass Christmas tree candle decor on natural birch wood stand. This tree features a winter plaid pattern, and has a flickering LED candle to subtly light it from behind. These make great hostess gifts, and are perfect for apartment dwellers, look great on a fireplace mantle, or in a window, or any little corner needing a little festive touch.
Trees are made by screen printing enamels or micas onto colorful sheet glass, then fusing overnight in a kiln to about 1415 degrees. Each piece is made by artist Laurie Freivogel in her Oak Park studio. Please note that due to the handmade nature of the wispy glass, each piece will be a little different.
