Fun and bright 2.25" square ornaments, not to heavy for your branches and cute as buttons. This ornament features the VOTE design screen printed in red enamel onto wispy turquoise-white glass, and is then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees.
Each ornament is screen printed, kiln formed glass and hangs from a simple velvet ribbon. Ornaments make a great holiday and housewarming gifts, and are pretty hanging in a window.
Artist Laurie Freivogel designs and makes each piece in her tiny Oak Park studio. Using powdered enamels, designs are screen printed by hand onto colorful sheet glass, then fused in a kiln in multiple firings. Goods are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to avoid dishwasher detergent etching. Laurie’s imagery consists of bold graphics, botanical drawings, pop-culture imagery and icons, and nostalgic city landmarks.
