Bike 8" Slumped Platter *discontinued*

This platter features a vintage Schwinn Cruiser and street lights screen printed in turquoise and black enamels onto transparent red glass layered over white ( making it opaque), then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees. After that, it is cold-worked on glass saws and grinders, then returned to the kiln to slump into a mold to about 1250 degrees.

It is screen printed, kiln formed glass, 8" square, about 1/4" thick and slumped into a sushi-style mold, making it about 1" high at the corners.

These make great wedding and housewarming gifts. Each piece comes wrapped in colorful tissue, please let us know if you need a gift box.Uses for these include valet trays - great on a desk or by the front door, plates, small serving platters, and candle holders but they look equally fabulous on your table or hanging on the wall. While they are dishwasher safe (china cycle, please), we recommend hand washing (dishwasher detergent can etch glass over time, resulting in scratched and cloudy glassware).
