Fused glass Christmas tree candle decor on natural birch wood stand. This tree features four six-pointed stars from the Chicago flag, and has a flickering LED candle to subtly light it from behind. These make great hostess gifts, and are perfect for apartment dwellers, look great on a fireplace mantle, or in a window, or any little corner needing a little festive touch.
- Wispy blue glass printed with red enamel
- Approximately 6" high and a little over 3 1/2" wide
- Mounted on a birch base, which is removable for storage
- Flickering battery LED candle included
Trees are made by screen printing enamels or micas onto colorful sheet glass, then fusing overnight in a kiln to about 1415 degrees. Each piece is made by artist Laurie Freivogel in her Oak Park studio.
