This coaster features our illustration of a classic country Gibson acoustic guitar printed in black glass enamel onto mint green glass, then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees. Our coasters are fused glass, 4" square, and have rubber bumpons on the bottom to protect your surfaces.
Artist Laurie Freivogel designs and makes each piece in her tiny Oak Park studio. Using powdered enamels, designs are screen printed by hand onto colorful sheet glass, then fused in a kiln in multiple firings. Goods are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to avoid dishwasher detergent etching. Laurie’s imagery consists of bold graphics, botanical drawings, pop-culture imagery and icons, and nostalgic city landmarks.
