River Rocks Freeform Bowl | Large

Freeform bowls are made up of varying width strips of screen printed and plain glass layered under varying width strips of clear glass, then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees.  Bowls are then cold worked on grinders and saws, then put back into the kiln to slump into their final shape.  Each bowl is unique and made-to-order, and will vary slightly from the one pictured.  Please allow an additional 2-4 weeks to make and ship.

This bowl is made to coordinate with the River Rocks series of housewares.  Strips of opaque elephant gray glass are screen printed with a river rocks pattern in dark blue enamel alternated with plain strips of transparent light plum glass.  Large bowls are about 13" x 3" deep and have freeform edges. 

These make great wedding and housewarming gifts. These are a fantastic fruit bowl size, are great for serving, and look equally fabulous displayed on your table. They are food-safe, and while kiln formed glass is dishwasher safe (china cycle), we recommend hand washing.
