This platter has a section of opaque ivory glass bordered on all sides by transparent light bronze glass, and features a vintage Leica camera and film strip printed in black and brown enamels, then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees. The fused piece is cold worked on glass saws and grinders, then returned to the kiln to slump into it's final shape. It is screen printed, kiln formed glass, 12" square, about 1/4" thick and slumped into a sushi-style mold, making it about 2" high at the corners.
These make great wedding and housewarming gifts. Each platter comes in its own gift box, ready for wrapping. These make fantastic serving or cheese/fruit platters, but look equally fabulous on your table or hanging on the wall. They are food-safe, and we recommend hand washing (but you may run them through your dishwasher on the China/Light cycle).
